An ever growing number of employees are bringing novel demands to traditional workspaces. These challenges are increasing the number of job turnover rates, creating unique situations for employers who are designing benefit plans for their employees. With an increase in diminished loyalty seen among employees, employers are forced to find new and creative ways to make their benefits package appealing to younger audiences in order to retain their workforce and save money by investing in their employees. One area of great success has been seen in the new Student Loan Repayment Programs as student loan debt impact 44.7 million Americans. By assisting employees reduce their student loan debt employers are providing supplemental benefits and experiencing a true return on investments.

Alex Waller has been an employee benefits professional for over 25 years.  Over that time, he has been an underwriter, technical writer, sales representative and a sales manager.  In his current role, he represents dental, vision and student loan programs for Ameritas primarily serving Georgia and Alabama.  He is active with the CEAHU chapter in Savannah and is a past president of the Worldwide Employee Benefits Network (WEB) in Atlanta.  He also serves on the Senior Sales Council advisory board at Ameritas.
