For The Coastal Empire Chapter of Health Underwriters’ 13th Annual Symposium & Exhibitor Fair.  The Symposium offers Georgia health insurance professionals the opportunity to participate in continuing education, receive updates on our industry and legislation, and meet your carrier partners. 

The Expo will feature a wide variety of exhibitors presenting today’s hottest products and services for health insurance professionals.  It is a unique opportunity to speak with carrier representatives on a one on one basis and learn about the latest industry innovations.

Date:         Thursday, April 27^th, 2017

Time:        8:00 am to 4:30 pm

CE:            5 Hours of CE applied for

                   (3 hours of ethics)

Vendor Appreciation Event

Wednesday night before the Symposium we will host a Vendor Appreciation Event at Moon River Brewing Company on Bay Street from 5 pm to 7 pm for our vendor partners who make this event possible.  We invite you attend.  Please include your RSVP for this event when you register online.

Spotlight on our Charity

This year, our chapter has selected Urban Hope as our charity organization.

The vision of Urban Hope is to help bring change to the inner city through its children, by giving them hope for a better future, through after school and summer programs.

Each month, Urban Hope publishes a wish list of items needed for the after school program.  Examples of these items include:

•            Stapler/Staples
•            Hand Sanitizer

•            Walkie-Talkie radios

We will be taking up a collection of items at our event to donate to the Urban Hope afterschool program.  Clean out a closet or a drawer and bring in some items to sponsor our charity.
